Tech Com Center

Technical writing and documentation is a vast field and lucrative specialization niche for writers. There is a constant demand for all kinds of technical documentation and it's not that hard either. If you can write in a clean uncomplicated style and describe procedural steps to accomplish a task, then you can easily generate technical copy.

I myself have been employed as a full-time technical writer for the last 12 years and counting. I love to work as a technical writer and that's why I believe I can really teach you how to write technical documents of all kinds.

The number and kind of technical documents that you can write are practically limitless. Here are a few of more popular ones:

  • User Guide

  • System Administration Guide

  • Installation Guide

  • Quick Start Guide

  • Quick Reference Guide

  • Spec Sheets (there are at least 3 or 4 different types)

  • Release Notes

  • Help Files

  • Index

You'll find detailed instructions on each of these technical documents as we continue to build up this web site in the days and months ahead. Please check back often to take advantage of the last free updates.
