Writing a political congratulations letter is easy when you apply the ideas below.

Use the following phrases in a letter of congratulations addressed to a person who has just won an important election or a nomination:


My heartfelt congratulations on your election and splendid success.

We have just heard of your success. Sincere congratulations and best wishes for the future.

Please accept our heartfelt congratulations on your nomination (election).

Your nomination (election) is a testimony to the esteem in which you are held by your fellow citizens. Heartiest congratulations.

Congratulations on your victory; a hard fight, well won by the best man (woman).

Your splendid majority must be a great satisfaction to you.

Sincerest congratulations on your election.

Congratulations upon your nomination. You will have the supportof the best elements in the community and your election should be a foregone conclusion. I wish you every success.

You fought the good fight in a good cause. Heartiest congratulations on your splendid success.
