How about a little realism?
If you have organized poor villagers in Congo into production co-ops, or have coded a new Linux distribution for non-profits, if you’ve won an international prize for your TV show, make sure to mention that in your resume. ------ What if you haven't done any of these things? What if you're not a super star? The people reading this article are people who are having trouble writing their resume because they can't relate to these superstar examples. Sheesh. |
