How to Write a Bibliography
Bibliography is an important part of every thesis, academic essay, article, or book that requires substantiation of the claims made in the work. Bibliography provides a reference against which the truth value of the statements can be checked. There are three main styles of citation accepted today as the “standard” in the publishing world. They are: MLA (Modern Language Association) style APA (American Psychological Association) style Chicago (Manual of Style) styleAlthough these styles are similar to one another they are not identical. You’d be advised to know the differences between them in case you are asked to use specifically one or the other citation style. Here are some examples: Book with ONE author Book with TWO authors Book with THREE authors Journal article with ONE author Journal article with TWO authors Journal article with THREE authors Magazine article with ONE author Magazine article with TWO authors Magazine article with THREE authors
